At the ripe old age of 14, I was in a van with seven other kids.
At dusk, we were dropped off in the projects and told to knock door-to-door.
Our mission was to sell subscriptions to The Miami News - the region's afternoon newspaper.
And so began the 50-year
odyssey of a career in sales.
Warp-speed forward to 2009 and the birth of Wholesaler Masterminds®.
Who knew that what started as a half-baked idea, that sought to leverage my then 20-year career in Distribution, would end up becoming an industry staple of wholesaler training and development?
During that time, through our website (1.62 MILLION pageviews), podcast (214,000 downloads), live presentations, books, YouTube channel, LinkedIn groups,
magazine (remember that?), and this Sunday Night Email, the mission has been single-minded:
Help wholesalers and their leaders improve the art, science, and lifestyle of the craft we all love.
And now, 15 years after it began, it's time to pack up the bag.
While that means the coaching and speaking elements of the business will be discontinued, access to the content we've painstakingly created and nurtured will remain
available.
From your generous comments over the years, it's my understanding that we have played a role in your career success, and my hope is that others will continue to benefit from the written and spoken words we will leave behind at wholesalermasterminds.com.
