It's applicable to car sales.
If you don't sell the required number of units in a month or a quarter, your tenure will be brief.
It's irrelevant to wholesaling.
If you come up short on your monthly or quarterly sales target (unless it's a nasty habit) management has more grace.
That's because car sales is measured in units sold, now.
Your success is measured by relationships formed, nurtured, and converted into profitable advisor/COI partnerships that continue to yield fruit over time.
Your time frame for results, while important, is far longer.
Hence, this bit of wisdom I found being applicable to you:
The longer the time frame for results, the less you need intensity and the more you need consistency.
Consistency isn't simply willpower, which comes and goes. Consistency is doing it when you don't feel like doing it.
If you want Advantageous Divergence, you have to do the things that matter on your best day and your worst day.
Consistency > intensity.
On your best days and your worst.
Truth.
