A rescue we scooped up after he was turned in by his former owner 200 miles away.
So, so scared of most things well adjusted pups take for granted.
His number one fear?
Me.
The list of what he’d not allow me to do ran long, and at the top of that list was snuggles/kisses.
And who here
doesn't like to give big kisses to their fur baby?
Slowly, very, very, very slowly, he started to understand that this human meant him no harm.
Finally, more than a year later, Higgins will plop in my lap for quality Dad time.
So, what does that have to do with your practice?
A lot.
Too many wholesalers jettison a newly developing skill (PVP, trial closing, forward scheduling, etc.) because they
don't see immediate results.
Even though we both know that honing new skills in this profession is often a slow burn - and patience is your wholesaling superpower.
Higgins just needed some time to adjust to all things new, and so do you.

p.s. Are you making progress on your Dog Days of Summer Challenge?
[From our July 16th Sunday Night Email]:
Dog Days of
Summer Challenge - I've assembled "51 Posts Every External Wholesaler Needs To Read".
If you read just one per day, you'll be done (and a better wholesaler) on September 12th - just in time to crush the prime Fall
selling season.
