Flush it

I had to look away.

The score was both embarrassing and unconscionable.

How on earth can my team be down 55 points in an NBA playoff game?

55 points!

And so it's been so far this year - in fact 11 games have been decided by more than 25 points.

Which is why NBA players and coaches adopt the phase "flush it".

Flush it and move on with the job at hand.

Watch film, examine strategy, game-plan, practice, next game.

If you're holding on to the last iffy meeting, suspect group presentation or difficult phone/zoom conversation you had, flush it!
