The Memory of a Goldfish?

Yet one sentence continues to rattle around my brain.

It speaks to the speed at which information flies past us each day.

So fast that, unless we find the right combination of urgency and memorability, your message to advisors will be lost.

The line, from a study of RIA wholesaling effectiveness, read:

"One RIA interviewed stated that they often get a follow-up email or call from a wholesaler but have trouble remembering the conversation that initiated the follow-up in the first place."

Let that sink in for a minute folks...

Advisors are so saturated with distribution messaging that they have trouble connecting the message to the person sending it or the reason it was sent.

Which, for many, means that they simply delete them all!

Either advisors have the memories of goldfish or your appointments, and subsequent follow-up messages, are not memorable enough.
