When you thought cameras and/or film, you thought Kodak.
Or the company that in 1983 appeared on Fortune's 'Most Admired' list.
They founded enterprise technology that was synonymous with desktop calculators and word processing in the 60's and 70's.
Yet by 1985, with the rise of personal computers, Wang was on its way to extinction.
And for a period of time in the 70's and 80's, one Wall Street firm had an ad slogan that was hard-wired into the lexicon of the English language.
Though founded way back in 1904, the campaign "When E.F. Hutton talks, people listen" made the firm a household name.
After scandals, fraud, and debt issues, the remains of original company were, until recently, buried in the archives of Citigroup.
