It Worked So Well I Stopped Doing It

It's true, I have Shiny Object Syndrome (SOS).
The three most pronounced symptoms of SOS are:
1. Easily distracted by new ideas/concepts/strategies.
2. Tempted by the latest trend/guru/technique.
3. A tendency to leave behind tried and true methods that worked well, and were successful for the business, in favor of the latest and greatest.
And, as a recovering sufferer of SOS, I need to make sure that there is balance between: the adoption of new and the adherence to that which is tried and true.
This reminder of SOS comes to mind as I have had coaching client discussions that go like this:
Me: Does the idea we discussed resonate with you?
Client: It does - in fact it's a lot like something I used to do.
Me: It worked so well that you stopped, huh?
Client: Exactly.
Do you suffer from SOS in your wholesaling practice?
