He overflowed with enthusiasm.
Barely able to contain his excitement, he explained that the "new" experience would include a high end, limited dinner menu.
His face lit up when he described the extraordinary bottles he was sourcing for the new wine list.
While I was there, I watched him bounce from guest-to-guest, meeting, greeting and explaining the changes that were about to take place.
Frankly, I was exhausted simply observing his passion and zeal.
If you're thinking this must have been the proprietor of a chic and trendy cafe, you'd be mistaken.
This all occurred in a Marriott Club lounge in the thriving metropolis that is Dublin, Ohio.
How was it that he was so pumped up about a new corporate offering?
Before he dashed off to spread his vision to others, Rishi offered, "Run your business like it’s your own...even if it’s not."
