On the road again

The things we see while on the road.
Be it the train that takes you uptown to your next stop or the flight that leads to the farthest-most state you cover.
We see sublime sights, like the snow-capped mountains surrounding Seattle in winter or the gorgeous Manhattanhenge sunset in summer.
Plus, we see the unexplainable.
Like the time I called DeeAnne.
Who was driving through L.A.'s San Fernando Valley when she answered.
Rather than speaking about the business at hand, she described watching a man taking his pet lama for a walk down the street.
Sadly, the show ended when the man and his lama turned into a storefront.
For a tattoo and piercing parlor.
More than simply awestruck by beauty or flabbergasted by the absurd, as travel begins to ramp up we're reminded to take time out of each day to look up from the grind and appreciate the world around us.
It's a perk of the job great wholesalers often overlook.
