Anxious Wholesaler Syndrome

Goals have been set.
Comp plans are (mostly) in place.
The markets continue to churn.
Bring on 2021.
And if you're like many wholesalers (and me), serve all of the above with an unhealthy dose of anxiety.
That feeling of excessive worry or fear, accompanied by a good dose of occasional insomnia.
Previously I described the 4-7-8 process which, frankly, I use all the time and works remarkably well (read how that works here).
Add to that another anxiety hack:
Say it's 2 AM and you're tossing and turning.
Or, it's 2 PM and you're at your desk or behind the wheel.
In both cases, you're wracked by worry.
Tell yourself that you'll deal with this worry/doubt/anxiety at a later, specific time.
Make an mental appointment with yourself for later in the day.
Nine times out of ten, by the time that appointed hour comes around, you'll have forgotten what had you so lathered up 6, 8, or 12 hours ago.
Your job is filled with tons of work-related demands and challenges (often compounded by a whole additional set of personal ones as well).
How about in the year ahead we keep the ones that are self inflicted to a dull roar?
