It was a dead giveaway.
It showed the true era that the home was from.
In the case of the house that The Mrs. and I had our eye on, it was a huge tell.
And indicative of the fact that the house had not been updated in any way, shape, fashion, or form in a long, long time.
There it was, in the kitchen, mounted on the wall - a powder blue telephone.
Not only that, it was a powder blue wall phone with a rotary dial.
Hello 1972!
That house is a lot like wholesalers who are failing to adapt to this new world of wholesaling.
A world in which technology smarts, creativity, innovation and product knowledge are all tied together.
